We are currently searching for a Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Hoffman Estates, IL.
The Technical Sales Representative will process customer orders for software options, handle customer inquiries, and assist in scheduling of the installation of orders. Primary responsibilities will include:

Data entry of Option orders that are received by e-mail, Excel worksheet or fax. Enter needed information into an Oracle service module for billing and tracking of orders. Review for accuracy
Update or create installed base records into an Oracle Installed Base module
Be able to manage incoming e-mails. Responding to customer requests in an accurate and professional manner
Interact with internal departments and parent company to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders. Provide internal customers support on the status of option orders, quoting availability, checking on additional parts, processing orders and resolving problems
Complete and distribute appropriate documentation relating to option orders to both internal and external customers. This includes, but is not limited to, purchase orders, modifying existing orders or canceling orders in accordance with standard procedures
Be able to contact customers via phone or email to clarify or obtain additional information related to the processing of the orders. This includes acquiring accurate information regarding customer s industry and reporting to Fanuc Corporation
Tracking delivery and order status, expediting delivery, providing minor technical support and resolving complaints or problems
Ability to work overtime as needed
Other duties as assigned

Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:

Associate Degree or equivalent business experience
Minimum 2 years technical and/or customer service experience, preferably within FANUC AMERICA Corporation
