Reviews and revises vehicle estimates, supplements and subrogation requests while applying Company guidelines to achieve the best repair result for customer vehicles.
Estimate Review: Audits vehicle estimates utilizing internal and external Claims software, researching policy details, accident reports and other related information making necessary adjustments to achieve appropriate costs and repairs for customer. Reviews repair cost estimates with automobile repair shop to secure agreement on cost of repairs. Uploads estimate to internal claims system notifying Claims Adjuster of completed review to continue processing of claim.
Subrogation: Audits electronic & paper subro demands in E-hub identifying what is owed and what reductions should be taken. Provides adjuster documentation for advancement of file. Sends denial letters to other carriers, when necessary.
Shop Supplements: Processes shop supplement reviews within same day of receipt to prevent delays on repairs and minimize costs.
3-5 years’ experience with body shop repair/estimating required
Basic Access, Word, Excel skills required for data entry
Experience writing estimates in Mitchell, Audatex, and CCC required
Knowledge of repair process for automobiles
Ability to obtain and maintain state licensing requirements
I-CAR certifications preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $24.87 – $37.51 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
