Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst – Hybrid

This position is a key role in our security organization, responsible for building and supporting security operations function at Sensient. The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for data management, analyzing tools performance, identifying problems and developing recommendations that support Cybersecurity initiatives. Collaborates with cross functional teams to collect, analyze data, presents results and provides recommendations. This role will work on security-uplift projects across the company and may involve either directly performing activities or coordinating with the appropriate specialists. Lead multiple projects, possess excellent communication skills, work well with a team and interact with multiple levels and functions across the organization.

This opportunity will require someone that is willing to come onsite to Sensient as needed. That might be 1 day a week or 1 day a quarter. However, there may be times when a project is in a surge that daily presence would be required. That would be rather rare but could happen. Candidate has to be within commuting distance to either Sensient Milwaukee or Hoffman Estates office and willing to be onsite if needed.

What will you be doing?

Guard all organizational data, particularly sensitive data, from both internal and external threats by designing broad defenses against threats.

Safeguard information and system assets by identifying and promptly resolving security concerns, issues and threats.

Work independently and make decisions regarding complex issues with appropriate consultation of peers, cross-functional teams, and supervisors.

Support the Digital Forensic & Investigations Team in high tech investigations in the form of electronic evidence, computer forensic analysis, e-mail analysis, DLP alerts, data recovery and network assessments.

Planning, managing, monitoring, and upgrading cybersecurity measures for data, systems, and networks

Conducting internal configuration and vulnerability assessments of information systems using commercial and open-source assessment tools

Participating in change management processes related to overall security posture

Experience working with information security tools and solutions is preferred.

Author, review, edit, and contribute to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other formal documentation.

What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or another related discipline strongly preferred.

Five (5) plus years of work experience in information security.

Desired, but not required: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Ability to work before & after hours when needed

Strict and personal sense of accountability and ownership
