About the Role*
Working closely with the Course Manager for the School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, the Curriculum and Academic Management team and academics within the School, the Academic Administration Officer will support these roles in taking a proactive approach to the management of relevant academic matters in the Schools and Faculty, providing policy and procedural advice to staff and students, exercising initiative, judgment, integrity and diplomacy. The role will also engage with the Associate Dean Teaching and Learning, the Head of School, and Course and Unit Coordinators on a daily basis.

The position requires the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders including accreditation bodies, partner institutions and industry peak bodies.

About You*
The applicant is to have experience working effectively in a small team and a complex organisational environment with an understanding of academic governance, quality assurance and student administration. Outstanding written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, organisational and analytical and problem solving skills are also required.
